To change the software version of any VVX310 visit the Polycom Provisioning Server:

There, select the version that you would like to install. Ringcentral currently requires ver. 4.1.6.

  1. Configure your DHCP menu:

    On 3.x Phones: Main Menu > Settings > Advanced > Admin Settings > Network Configuration > DHCP Menu 
    On 4.x/5.x phones: Main Menu > Settings > Advanced > Admin Settings > Network Configuration > Provisioning Server > DHCP Menu

    • Boot Server: Static
    • BootSrv Type: IP Address

  2. Configure your Provisioning Server menu:

    On 3.x Phones: Main Menu > Settings > Advanced > Admin Settings > Network Configuration > Server Menu 
    On 4.x/5.x phones: Main Menu > Settings > Advanced > Admin Settings > Network Configuration > Provisioning Server

  • Server Type: HTTP
  • Server Address: 96.244.192.115/416
The phone will restart a few times and install the software package. Provision phone to Ringcentral settings after installation is complete.
